Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday said his party would do everything to stop the Modi-Shah duo from coming to power and support any "secular mahagathbandhan" after the general election.  Releasing the manifesto, Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal said his party would do everything to stop the "Modi-Shah duo" from coming to power and that the party would support any "secular mahagathbandhan" after the Lok Sabha Election.

"We will secure 85 percent of the seats of Delhi colleges for residents of the city. Sixty-five percent of the jobs of the region will be secured for residents, similarly," Kejriwal said. Addressing the media after releasing the party manifesto here, Kejriwal said the AAP's focus would be on getting full statehood for Delhi. "We will fight our battle on the issue of getting full statehood for Delhi," he said.

Launching the AAP manifesto, Kejriwal that the 2019 election is about saving the nation and the Constitution. "We are Indians first, then Hindu or Muslim. Our unity being challenged. Country can be saved only if we don't get divided across religion and caste lines," said the AAP chief. Sisodia also said that had Delhi been accorded the status of a state, then the Jan Lokpal Bill would have been passed by its elected government.

Targeting BJP Chief Amit Shah over his remarks that the BJP government would remove all "infiltrators" except Hindus, Sikhs, and Buddhists from the country, Kejriwal said: "This proves that the BJP plans to remove all other religions except these three religions. The chief minister also hit out at Congress president Rahul Gandhi after the AAP and the grand old party failed to form an alliance. "Want to ask Rahul Gandhi which alliance is formed on Twitter? If Modi, Shah returned to power, only Gandhi will be responsible," Kejriwal said.
