MEHSANA: Aam Admi Party (AAP) will announce the name of its chief ministerial candidate at a suitable time, party leader and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has said.

In North Gujarat, Manish Sisodia is running a campaign for the party. The party will declare the CM candidate at the proper time, Sisodia assured media members after speaking to a crowd in Unjha town on Friday night.
After what happened in Uttarakhand, where its CM candidate Col. Ajay Kothiyal switched to the BJP, it appears the party is hesitant to reveal their CM candidate in order to avoid any humiliation.

He was responding the assertion made by BJP MLA Madhu Srivastava that the AAP's participation in the Gujarat election will only help the BJP win a majority. "My journalist buddy informed me that the BJP was claiming that the AAP's participation in the election will be to its advantage. I assert that the people will profit "Sisodia made this statement at a "Tiranga rally" held here by his party.

In his remarks to the public, Sisodia stated: "Serving Gujarat's citizens does not need us to hold positions of leadership; rather, we must raise the bar for public education so that it is on par with private institutions. The work of AAP is well known in Delhi." Sisodia claimed that AAP's stance is crystal clear in that public funds should be used for uplifting people, not just a limited group of cronies, in a thinly veiled jab at the BJP.

Raghav Chadha, an AAP legislator, arrived in Rajkot this morning in preparation for his campaign for the party in the Saurashtra area. He has been given joint responsibility for the Gujarat elections.

Manish Sisodia, the chief minister of Delhi, and Bhagwant Mann, the chief minister of Punjab, will both be in the state on Sunday to raise support for the party.

In Gujarat, the Aam Aadmi Party has become a potent alternative, he claimed. Sisodia also cautioned people against falling for plots designed to discredit AAP leaders and the "dirty tricks departments" of rival parties.
