Dehradun: AAP may announce candidates for remaining 19 seats soon. For this, the churning is going on for the names of the contenders. The party may announce the candidates today or tomorrow. AAP has so far declared candidates for 51 seats. The names of the candidates for 19 seats are yet to be announced. AAP had also not declared candidates for 19 seats due to the ongoing tussle over tickets between the Congress and the BJP. Top leaders of AAP are brainstorming on the names of candidates for the remaining seats. AAP state in-charge Dinesh Mohaniya says that candidates will be announced on the remaining seats soon.

Along with this, AAP leader Col Ajay Kothiyal (Retd) said that even after 21 years of the formation of the state, the issue of distribution of assets from UP has not been resolved. If CM Pushkar Singh Dhami is honest, then clear the situation in front of the people on the distribution of assets. On Monday, Kothiyal attacked CM Dhami. He said that it has been 21 years since the state was formed, but Uttarakhand is not the owner of its assets. For this both Congress and BJP are responsible, who have done politics of selfishness only. Kothiyal said that both the parties favored UP having 80 Lok Sabha seats and ignored the interests of Uttarakhand having 5 Lok Sabha seats.

He said that a few months back the CM had given a statement that the issue of assets has been resolved. Kothiyal gave a choice that if the Chief Minister is not lying, then keep the whole truth in front of the people. On the surface, he said that 13 thousand hectare land of Irrigation Department is still in the possession of UP even after 21 years. The property worth Rs 700 crore of the Transport Department is still in the possession of UP. UP also has rights over the barrage of Bhim Gowda (Haridwar), Ramganga (Kalagarh) and Lohia Head (Banbasa).
