Today is the birthday of Arya Babbar, son of famous actor Raj Babbar, who is making a splash in Punjabi films. Arya Babbar is celebrating her 40th birthday today. Apart from Hindi films, Arya Babbar has also acted in Punjabi films and nowadays he is showing his jalwe in Punjabi films. Arya Babbar made her Bollywood debut with 'Abke Bars' in 2002 in which she was accompanied by Amrita Rao. Though his film did not go well, his performance was still appreciated by the people.

Arya has also worked with directors like Mani Ratnam, Vikram Bhatt, Madhur Bhandarkar but still could not become a super hit. Arya has acted in more than 15 films so far but none of them have been superhits. You must have seen him playing small roles in Salman Khan's films like 'Ready', 'Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola', 'Guru' though he could not get much recognition. For your information, arya is also fond of writing books apart from acting. In fact, he has written a comic book called Pushpak Vimana which has also been well received.

He has also played role of ravana in the TV show 'Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanuman'. After playing this character, he started liking the TV world. He was also in the news when he had an affair with Minisha Lamba during tv reality show Bigg Boss though the two could not stay together for long. Apart from Minisha, her name was also associated with Srishti Nair.
