With the pandemic taking its toll on everyone, the massive hit can be seen by students spread across India. India is a country where not everyone has a laptop and a standard internet connection to opt for online education. How will the students study? How will people who have no money to feed themselves, guarantee education for their children? Will these children not get educated because of the issues related to poverty and unemployment during these adverse times?
 
Students who are living in villages are getting distance from education because of all these reasons. They do not have enough money to buy appropriate supplies for online education. It is safe to say that they do not even have proper books. Who will help these poor souls? Abhijit Deshmukh, the Director of New High School, Karmad, came as a ray of hope for the students. He started an initiative of sending teachers to nearby villages to educate students so that they get proper education during these tough times. He was always curious about: can we educate these children? Eventually, he decided to visit all these villages and started helping the children by converting various temples into auditoriums. He has created an endless number of batches for students. Each batch had 15-20 students. These students are taught together. this initiative has spread like wildfire in six villages. It’s called, school at your door.
 
This is the school of modern days. Mental health is a very important subject that people do not talk about. There are various departments with regards to this. Some of these are related to disabilities and issues that a normal student faces on a daily basis. Some of the issues are also related to the amount of money that a person has. All these issues create a very big hurdle in society and lead to a lot of mental issues. This can inculcate a very toxic environment. The youth is troubled and wants to come out of this hole. Isn’t this a very sad situation to be in? Don’t you all feel helpless?
 
Amidst all this, comes in a ray of hope, Mr. Abhijit Deshmukh, ex corporator of Nationalist Congress Party and Director of Aurangabad (Maharashtra) District Central Co-operative bank- have made the impossible possible and has uplifted many people during this time. He has nurtured lives and made the impossible possible. We need more and more people like him in society who can rise by lifting others. Mr. Deshmukh aims to uplift people with his spirit and has shown that good people exist. Kindness costs nothing but actually means everything. It makes people feel included. People need to understand the situation of others and then work accordingly. Mr. Deshmukh has become the perils of improvement for others. We wish him all the luck in this world.
