New Delhi: With the announcement of the Sports Awards, the controversy has begun. Many players expressed their displeasure at being ignored for the award. The Badminton player's system is an example of this. Another player has expressed his displeasure in this episode. The Indian side is Abhinav Bindra, the only Indian to win an individual gold medal in the Olympics. He strongly denounced the selection panel for not being nominated for the Dronacharya Award on Saturday.

Rana, who won several gold medals at the Asian Games, has produced world-class shooters like Manu Bhakar, Saurabh Chaudhary and Anis Bhanwala. Bindra said his disciples should prove the selection samit wrong by performing well at next year's Tokyo Olympics. "I attributed my success to the best coach," Bindra tweeted. Jaspal Rana is one of the best coaches and it is disappointing to ignore him for Dronacharya.

It is hoped that this will inspire his students to work hard and prove the committee wrong in Tokyo 2020. Abhinav Bindra won the gold medal in the 10 metre air rifle at the Beijing Olympics 2008. Rana thanked Bindra for not trying to prove himself to anyone. Jaspal Rana said, "Gratitude Abhinav Bindra. Your words are more important to me. I am not trying to prove myself to anybody. Three persons were nominated for the Dronacharya Award this year.
