Tuesday;June 21, 2016:Yesterday,The Delhi Anti-Corruption Branch filed an FIR against the previous Sheila Dixit government and the present AAP government in the Rs 400 crore water tanker 'scam' of the capital. ACB chief MK Meena said, “FIR is against both the previous Delhi Govt and present government,"

As per the sources said, “The FIR was registered against the current AAP government for delaying the probe into the scam”.

Meena further said, “Two complaints were received with regard to the scam and those named in the complaints include Dikshit and Kejriwal. He said both Dikshit and Kejriwal will be quizzed”.

"An FIR has been registered under relevant sections of IPC and Prevention of Corruption Act and both of them will be quizzed," Meena said.

AAP Minister Kapil Mishra filed a complaint on which the ACB is acting.

"We got a complaint from Kapil Mishra that they got an inquiry conducted and found out that the scam was during Sheila Dikshit government," said Meena.

She said, “A board comprising the Delhi Jal Board CEO, engineers and experts took the decision to procure them”

“One BJP MLA and two municipal councilors were also part of the decision-making process," she further said.

Under sections of Prevention of Corruption Act and IPC, the FIR has been recorded.
