Ongole: As part of Vigilance Awareness Week, all employees of government offices took a pledge not to indulge in any kind of corruption to make a corruption free nation, informed DSP M Suryanarayan Reddy of Anti-Corruption Bureau in Prakasam district. He said that to create awareness among the public about corruption, ACB is planning a week long activities like distribution of pamphlets, handouts on preventive vigilance activities, whistle blower mechanism and other anti-corruption measures.

It will also organize workshops and sensitization programs on preventive vigilance measures for employees and other stakeholders, conduct various competitions like debates, speeches, quizzes in schools and colleges on anti-corruption issues related to youth, besides taking out anti-corruption rally in Ongole. Suryanarayana Reddy announced that they are organizing an anti-corruption awareness program at Soumya Kalyanmandapam in Markapuram on Wednesday. He said that officers of Markapuram RDO, DSP, GST Assistant Commissioner, RTO, Mining, Agriculture, Power, Panchayati Raj, Labour, R&B, RWS, Education, Registration and other departments will also participate in the program along with their employees.
