New Delhi: Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) has written a letter to the Lieutenant Governor's Secretariat demanding that AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan be removed from the post of Delhi Waqf Board Chairman. ACB has said that Amanatullah Khan The intimidation of the witnesses in the corruption case against him is hampering the investigation.

Let us inform that Amanatullah Khan is the MLA of Aam Aadmi Party from Okhla. He attacked PM Narendra Modi by tweeting a day ago. He alleged that the PM is afraid of AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal and targets him to harass him. Khan tweeted- Modiji is scared of Arvind Kejriwalji and is constantly targeting his colleagues to harass him. Be it Manish Sisodia, Satyendra Jain or me... But Modiji, listen to one thing with open ears, we are not going to be afraid. We have full faith in the judiciary and the Constitution.

Sources in the LG office said on Wednesday that the ACB has said that Khan has a "criminal image", so witnesses in the corruption case are scared to come forward to record their statements. The ACB said in the letter that 'people are afraid of Amanatullah Khan because he has a criminal image. Because of this, witnesses are being hindered in giving independent and impartial statements against them. Therefore, an impartial inquiry cannot be conducted in this matter as long as Khan continues to hold office as the Chairman of the Delhi Waqf Board. The ACB has demanded the removal of Khan from the post till the completion of the investigation.
