Bengaluru: A tragic case has come to light from Karnataka where 7 persons have died in a road accident. The major accident took place in the Koramangala area of Bengaluru in the early hours of Tuesday. According to the Adugodi police station, the car was completely blown away in the accident. He said the accident was caused due to speeding of the car.

According to the same reports, the speeding Audi Q3 collided with the Punjab National Bank building after which the car lost control. As soon as the balance of the car deteriorated, the car climbed onto the pavement. Joint Commissioner of Traffic Dr. BR Ravichantgowda said that the incident took place around 2 pm. All the 7 persons in the car died in the accident. He said six persons died on the spot and one died after being admitted to the hospital. The cause of the accident was the speeding of the car.

The same accident occurred due to the negligence of the car driver as he was driving fast. He said the wall of the building that hit the car has also been damaged. Police said Karunasagar, son of Hosur MLA Prakash Wai of DMK, and his wife Bindu were among the seven deceased. Hosur is a district of Tamil Nadu adjoining Bengaluru and is about 40 km from the city. Other victims include Ishita, Dhanush, Akshay, Goyal, and Rohit. All of them were in the age group of 20 to 30 years and were living in paying guest accommodation in the city.
