Tuesday in Howrah a state transport bus met with an accident on National Highway 6 near Bagnan in this district and in accident a four month old boy died and 17 persons were seriously injured.
The South Bengal State Transport Corporation (SBSTC) bus, bound for Tamluk from Kolkata, rammed a water tanker at Mohishrekha, killing Rumit Jana on the spot, police said.
The injured have been deliver immediately to the hospital and admitted to Uluberia hospital. Hpowever, the police is on the hunt to nab the driver and cleaner of the bus.
