Accountant escapes with Rs 40 lakh from builder's office, police to investigate

Lucknow: An accountant has allegedly cheated and fled with Rs 40 lakh from the office of a builder in Noida's Sector-63, adjoining the national capital, Delhi. On receiving a complaint about the incident, the police are investigating the matter. Inspector Dharmendra Kumar Shukla, in charge of Police Station Sector-63, informed that dr builder is a State Private Limited in G-Block of Sector-63, Noida.  

He said its owner Devendra Kumar has lodged a complaint with the police that his accountant Rajesh Kumar had fled the company a week ago with Rs 40 lakh. He said the accused, Rajesh, was a resident of Lal Kuan in Ghaziabad. He said when the police reached his house, he was found absconding along with his family. He said that the police are investigating the case by registering a report of the incident.

At the same time, a man living in Sadarpur Colony of Noida Sector-39 has duped of Rs 3.34 lakh by some unknown miscreants by promising to buy an iPhone on Instagram. Police have registered a case and started an investigation.
