Vikas Sachdeva, who molested a former Bollywood actress in a flight, has been sentenced to three years by the Dindoshi Court in Mumbai. Special Judge AD Dev, while hearing cases under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act, convicted Vikas Sachdev under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code. Seeking the least punishment for development, his lawyer Adnan Sheikh argued that the accused are the only earners in his family.

Later, the former actress was accused of molesting Vikas Sachdeva, who was traveling together by writing a post on social media. Vikas has also been convicted under the relevant provisions of the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses) Act, as the victim was 17 years old when the incident took place. That is, she was a minor. The police arrested Vikas Sachdeva from Mumbai after the actress's allegation. This case is dated 10 December 2017 last year. The actress was going from Vistara Airlines to Mumbai from Delhi. During this journey, he was molested in the flight. This was revealed when the actress shared the weeping video on social media. In this video, she was giving information about the incident on the flight.
