The case which has come to light recently is that of Chakeri in Kanpur, from where a teenager who has been kidnapped and taken hostage has accused 4 people of gang-rape. After the accused was freed from the clutches, in this case, the teenager told the incident in a statement to the police on Friday and she cried a lot.

According to the information, the family members of the teenager have alleged, "The police neither got medical nor made statements before the magistrate. On December 22, a teenager resident of Sunigawan was abducted by a youth, Shamshad alias Matru, resident of 60 Fit Road, Sanigawan. The first few days she was kept in his house after that she was taken hostage in the rental room in Jajmau. On January 16, the teenager reported on UP-112. After this, the police reached there. The teenager told the Chakeri police that 4 people including Shamshad and his brother had gang-raped her.

After the victim's statement, in this case, the police could not get the victim's medical done on Friday and Chakeri Inspector Ranjit Rai said, "The medical and magistrate statement of the teenager will be made on Saturday." The sections in the FIR will be increased based on the medical report.
