Sambhal, A husband and in-laws of 25-year-old, attacked on her with acid for dowry in Kotwali area.
As per the complaint filed by vicim, Farzana, her father-in-law Iqbal, husband Akram along with his brother Laeeq Ahmad and sister Kesar Jahan threw acid at her during a meeting with her family members last evening.
Inspector Yashpal Singh Yadav said, “the victim was living with her parents. She was forced to leave her in-laws house as since marriage they were demanding a car and cash”.
Police registered a case against Akram and his family members and the victim was sent for medical examination.
