Let us tell you that along with imposing a fine of Rs 10 lakh, the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has asked Sensodyne to remove all its misleading advertisements within seven days from all mediums like TV, OTT, YouTube, social media etc. has instructed. In fact, in an official release issued on Tuesday, it has been asked to remove the advertisement of Sensodyne claiming 'recommended by dentists worldwide' and 'the world's number one sensitivity toothpaste' within seven days. Yes, and at the same time, the advertisements showing support by foreign dentists have been ordered to be stopped as per the order passed earlier by the CCPA.

Along with this, Sensodyne claimed to eliminate sensitivity in 60 seconds and said that it has been confirmed by doctors. Let us tell you that the CCPA asked the Drug Controller General of India and the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization to investigate.
