A video clip of famous Tamil actor Mansoor Ali Khan performing on a boat outside his house amid floodwaters has recently gone viral on social media. On Saturday, the actor tweeted a video of himself using a bathtub as a boat amid flood water in front of his house.

Due to a lack of reprieve from the same torrential rains, several sections of Chennai have been swamped. Even after a red warning was issued for the city again, water levels are increasing in numerous sections of Chennai, disrupting daily life. Since Friday, Chennai has been inundated with torrential rain. In the already flooded metropolis, more heavy rain is expected.

When the actor realised he was in this scenario, he began pedalling in a makeshift watercraft. "The footage he shared is from outside his residence in Nungambakkam," a source close to the actor stated. His area's water level has risen, and he wants to underline the hardships he is experiencing. Mansoor Ali Khan is singing a Tamil song on the same 'boat,' with the opening line reading, 'If someone is born, he should be born in Tamil Nadu and swim in Chennai...'
