Tollywood Actor Prakash Raj has expressed concerns about the Andhra Pradesh government's alleged abuse of power and dominance over the Telugu film industry, particularly in the instance of Pawan Kalyan's newest film, 'Bheemla Nayak.' On Sunday, the actor tweeted about the situation, appealing with the authorities to end their unwanted domination.

Prakash Raj has criticized the Andhra Pradesh government for imposing film restrictions in the state, such as in the case of Pawan Kalyan's 'Bheemla Nayak.' In his hard-hitting note, the actor wrote, "#BheemlaNayak .. #GovtofAndhrapradesh please put an end to this onslaught..let cinema thrive #JustAsking".

The multifaceted film personality also questioned the Jagan government's misuse of power. No one, according to Prakash Raj, can stop audiences' love for their favourite actors and movies. After the release of Pawan Kalyan's film "Bheemla Nayak," the Andhra government deployed special officer forces to the theatres, causing everyone to turn their backs on the governing party's actions. Andhra Pradesh issued special government orders to prevent the film from being released earlier. The government has turned a deaf ear to the court's opposition to putting in the Government Order pertaining to ticket prices in the state.

During the first two waves of the pandemic, the whole film industry suffered losses. While the Telangana government promises to assist the industry, the state of Andhra Pradesh's decision to target an actor-turned-politician has become a heated subject in the Telugu states. The Pawan and Rana-starrer 'Bheemla Nayak', on the other hand, is said to have broken even in the United States. The film is now showing at the lowest available prices in Andhra Pradesh.
