Famous actor Ravi Patwardhan has passed away. He was 83 and had been suffering from heart disease for some time. Ravi was known for his contributions to Hindi as well as Marathi cinema and theatre. According to media reports, he was having trouble breathing since Saturday night. After which he was admitted to a private hospital. However, his condition did not improve and he died on Sunday morning.
The actor also suffered a heart attack earlier this year. Ravi Patwardhan, who played mostly Dadaji in movies and TV serials, had worked in more than 200 films and more than 150 plays in his career. Ravi was born on 06 September 1937. He was also known for his strong acting and engaging dialogue style. Ravi Patwardhan, who was mainly active in Marathi movies, is saddened by the news of his death. He is being paid tribute on social media.
Starting his career in the 1970s, Ravi Patwardhan played different roles in many movies, TV shows and plays. One of his notable Hindi movies is Tezaab. The film starred Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit in the lead roles. He also acted in films like Jhanjhar, Bond and Yashwant.
