'Krishnakoli,' a Bengali daily serial starring Tiyasha Roy and Neel Bhattacharya as the primary couple, ended its run yesterday (January 9). The entire crew was touched by the experience. 'Krishnakoli,' which premiered in June 2018, was a huge hit with the audience. "I had a mixed sensation when shooting for the last time," Tiyasha, who played the major role in the show, said. I'm not sure how to react... whether to smile or cry. "I'm feeling a little overwhelmed."

While bidding farewell to the show, Neel, alias Nikhil Chowdhury, was similarly upset. "We've spent nearly a year together as a family." Krishnakoli has broadcast almost 1200 episodes, which is impressive. For a long period, the show also ruled the TRP charts. It's been an incredible journey. We've put up with each other for a long time (laughs). But we've never argued and have instead had a great time together," he remarked.
"Perhaps that's why we've won the award for best on-screen pair so many times," Tiyasha agreed with Neel.
Neel hasn't been seen in 'Krishnakoli' because he started filming for yet another show. However, the actor appeared in the season finale of 'Krishnakoli.'

The entire team was overcome with emotion. They went on a trip down memory lane. "We were browsing over old photographs." I've literally grown up in the previous four years. "I was fairly young at the time, and while playing Krishnakoli, I also changed my appearance (laughs)," Tiyasha remarked. The actress made her debut with the film 'Krishnakoli,' which was an immediate smash and virtually instantly made Tiyasha a household name.

"Tiyasha genuinely grew up in the previous four years," Neel observed of his co-star. She has grown up in the programme, becoming a mother and now a grandma. She grew up in real life, as well."  Terming the success a collective effort, the reel couple who entertained Bengali audience with their sizzling on-screen chemistry, Neel and Tiyasha lauded their entire team and their hard work. “Teamwork made our show a success. Viewers watch us in front of the camera but there are a lot of people working tirelessly behind the camera,” Neel said. Tiyasha, too, heaped praises on the entire team. She said, “ Entire team worked really hard. We will cherish this journey our entire life.”
