LOS ANGELES: Legendary Hollywood Actress Ashley Tisdale has been losing patches of hair because of autoimmune disease alopecia.

Femalefirst.co.uk repots that the "High School Musical" actress has discovered throughout the years that her hair begins to fall out when the autoimmune disorder flares up at stressful moments, most recently when moving house and beginning a new job.

On Instagram, she wrote: "Although alopecia and hair loss are very common, many individuals are afraid to discuss them. Your self-esteem may be impacted by any form of hair loss, particularly if you believe you are the only one experiencing it." It's nothing to be ashamed of, which is why I want to discuss it publicly. "In some cases, it's linked to hormones, in other cases, to heredity, and in my case, it's linked to too much stress. I'm sharing what I've learned about my alopecia and how I help manage it today on @frenshe." The 37-year-old actress, who is married to Christopher French and has a 21-month-old daughter named Jupiter, provided more information about what transpired a few months ago on the website for her Frenshe skincare line.

"A few of months ago, while relocating, starting a home makeover, and starting a TV show at the same time, I realised that a patch of my hair was starting to fall out," she remarked. "It wasn't anything major-- just a small area behind my ear—but it was happening anyway, and not for the first time. I understood precisely what I was experiencing because I had alopecia a few years earlier when I was overly stressed." Tisdale discovers that her hair gradually regrows, and she makes an effort to deal with it with yoga, meditation, and counselling.
