LOS ANGELES: Actress Kate Winslet is talking openly about the pressure to appear a specific way when in the spotlight. The "Titanic" actor discusses how much harder it is now that Winslet's daughter is becoming known for her acting abilities.

In an interview with the Sunday Times, she said, "When I was younger, my agent would get calls asking, "How's her weight?"," reports 'Deadline'.

Winslet claims that she concerns "about being that actress that moves their face and has a body that jiggles" and believes that the nature of the business has altered at the age of 47.

Mia Threapleton, Winslet's daughter, is 22 years old, and with social media permeating every aspect of everyday life, it provides a new challenge for celebrities who must be more circumspect.

"Having the flipping News of the World on my doorstep was difficult enough, but that doesn't even cut it now," she remarked.

"There is no such thing as "today's news becoming tomorrow's fish and chip paper." The action you took while intoxicated or foolish? You might be haunted by it later. Being on alert for young actors is just something entirely different. It must be really challenging." In the movie "I Am Ruth," in which Winslet co-stars with her daughter, self-identity concerns are at the forefront of the plot.
