Television show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah completed 14 years yesterday. Taking to social media, Munmun Dutta, who plays the role of Babita ji in the show, shared pictures and video from the sets. The entire cast can be seen in a joyful mood. Munmun posed with Dilip Joshi and Mandar Chandwadkar, producer Jennifer Mistry and Asit Kumarr Modi, and all the other cast members from the show.
The whole crew and cast of the show got together to celebrate the occasion. Dilip Joshi, who plays the role of Jethalal, spoke to a media person about his journey on the show, fans' love, and the pandemic phase. He further shared that the entire team misses Nattu Kaka, Kavi Kumar Azad each day.
Commenting on the work experience on the sets of Taarak Mehta, Dilip Joshi said, "My experience of acting on the show has been lovely, full of fun, and fulfilling. We improvise a lot while shooting the show."
Mandar Chandwadkar who plays Mr. Bhide also told a media person about how he left his job in Dubai as an engineer and came back to India to pursue acting. He said, “It was quite a dangerous decision at that time when I decided to return from Dubai to India leaving my job in 2000. It was a risky decision as there were very limited channels but I always felt strongly about following my love for acting and that I want to be an actor. I had to struggle from 2000 to 2008 but I am glad everything has paid off really well. I bagged Taarak Mehta after my struggle period and the rest is history.”
Asit Kumarr Modi thanked the audience for showering their affection on them and he promised to give them good content and sweet family comedy.
