Navika Kotia, an actor in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, was admitted to the hospital. The actor revealed on her Instagram page that she had been hospitalized after experiencing illness for three days. She also expressed her gratitude to her loved ones for being there for her while she was in the hospital.

On her Instagram Stories, Navika posted a photo from a hospital with the caption "Admitted." The actress Palak Sindhwani, who plays Sonu in the Sony Sab drama Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, also visited her at the hospital, she added. Palak was hugging her in the photo that Navika shared "Like no one else, you, baby, bring light into my life. Paklu @palaksindhwani, I love you. I felt so much better right away thanks to you. Greatest surprise"

Also sharing a note was Navika's admission to the hospital. She penned, "Despite how physically taxing and challenging the last three days have been for me, I am incredibly appreciative of my loving and supportive friends. You guys already know who they are, so I won't tag them."

He continued, "All I have to say is thank you so much for looking out for me and supporting me in any way you could! And to my wonderful family, who I know have put up with me a little bit too much but who have always been so understanding and kind. I adore each of you."

Along with Mrunal Jain, Navika Kotia recently joined the cast of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. As Dr. Kunal Khera's sister Maya, who is pursuing a career as a pop star by lip-syncing to Akshara's voice, Navika plays the part opposite Mrunal.

When she was younger, Navika also made a brief cameo appearance as Chikki in the first season of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, while her brother portrayed young Naksh. Baa Bahoo Aur Baby and English Vinglish both featured Navika.
