Sonakshi Sinha's Bollywood career is not so good. She has not many hit films in her bag except for the 'Dabangg' series. But recently she has also become the only actress to join the 1500 crore club at the box office. Sonakshi Sinha's debut in the last decade has been among the few films that have done a business of 200 crores. These include her last hit film 'Mission Mangal'. Sonakshi has done about 20 films in the last decade. On her success, Sonakshi Sinha has said, 'Here friends are made and then they go away. I never thought about lobbying and getting work. I never went to any producer to say that give me work. I have always believed in good work and the work is with me".

"I stood by my principles. I am very happy with my work and focus on my career." Sonakshi Sinha also gave her views on the award show. She said, 'Actors like Aamir Khan and Kangana Ranaut have proved that awards are not given to those who do good work. If I am awarded for being someone's friend, then sorry, I am not interested in it. I am happy that I get a good response from the audience. Sonakshi was nominated for the film 'Lootera'. On this, Sonakshi further said, "It was very strange. When I asked him how can you give a Critics Award to the same actress who has already received the Popular Choice Award. Then he told me that her box office year was better. I did not like this logic. Since then, I have lost faith in the award."
