New Delhi: Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani has met British PM Boris Johnson in London. In the meantime, he said that his Adani Group will invest $70 billion (about Rs 5.24 lakh crore) to revolutionize the energy sector. Gautam Adani is currently attending the Global Investment Summit in London, UK.

Gautam Adani tweeted about it on Wednesday. This meeting took place on Tuesday. In his speech at the summit, British PM Boris Johnson has also announced an investment of about $13.72 billion in green projects. Gautam Adani said, 'Fortunate to meet Global Investment Summit and British PM Boris Johnson. What a platform! Adani Group will invest $70 billion in solar, wind and H2 energy.' Along with this, Adani also appealed to the UK government to set practical goals and agendas to deal with the climate crisis during the Global Investment Summit.

Adani Group is in a lot of diverse businesses like renewable energy, power generation, transportation, logistics varieties, real estate, infrastructure, gas, economic services, edible oil, food products. It has six companies listed in the Indian stock market. These include the name of clean energy company Adani Green, whose market capitalization has reached Rs 1,84,287.80 crores.
