Research also found that holy basil may help lower fasting and post-meal blood glucose levels, although more work is needed to confirm whether or not the herb can be an effective treatment for diabetes. It is also found in reseach that Tulsi can be used to help reduce high blood pressure and cholesterol levels. So, if you have prediabetes or type 2 diabetes, using holy basil may help prevent the symptoms of diabetes such as weight gain, insulin resistance, hypertension andmany others.
