Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadhnevis  declars to give give additional fund to the drought hit regions of Maharashtra. Cabinet Minister of Both BJP and Shiv Sena visited 29 Talukas of drought affected Beed, Latur and Osmanabad districts. CM declared to give funds  for water tankers, solve electricity and provide education to children.

Fadnavis said, “We are already providing 1799 water tankers as relief measures. If needed, we will provide Rs 15 crore to Lathur Municipal Corporation for additional tankers”. Adding in this he said “ Inorder to provide better electricity, we will provide Rs. 561 crore for Marathwada region. Previously, the government used to provide around Rs. 300-400 crore for the purpose”.  

Later he said that he has directed officials to chalk out a plan that would permanently solve water problems of lathur. “ How so ever big the problem may be, we solv them through an active participation of all stakeholders.”
