All India Radio (AIR) Adilabad Station is celebrating its 34th anniversary. AIR Adilabad is known for promoting and protecting the standard Telangana accent and reflecting the state's linguistic and cultural diversity.

The program head and station director S Sumanaspati in a press release has two special programs 'Itlasuta' (also) and 'Katha Indam' (a story listening). The event will be broadcast from October 12. Warangal writer Varikonda Kantha Rao reads his literary work Mahabharata on Tuesday night at 9.30 pm as part of the 'Itlasuta' program. The 'Katha Indam' is meant for school children and broadcasts short stories. The director further said that the 'Voice to Our Local' station is the slogan.

However, the station was operational on October 12, 1986. It migrated to FM broadcast on August 15, 2015. Since then it has established a film as the only film to broadcast a radio station and television. Programs in the holy Telugu dialect of Telangana attract the audience. The programs can be downloaded in All India Radio live mobile application.
