India's illustrious billiards player Aditya Mehta has won the title of National Snooker Championship 2020. Aditya Mehta defeated world champion Pankaj Advani 6-2 in the National Snooker Championship here and has won the title.

Aditya Mehta, representing the Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB), won on Sunday night. Mehta won the first frame by 103 points. Both players scored 103–17. After this, Aditya Mehta lost his next two frames by a margin of 50 -58, 47-48. It seemed that Pankaj Advani is making a comeback, but Mehta was pressing his nerves and won the next four frames and won the title 6-2. In a statement to the media on Monday after the victory, Aditya Mehta said, "This title is very special for me because it has come after four years. I was struggling with an injury, so I was away from this table." He added, "I had a slight pain in my head and I was struggling with it. And fortunately for me, the first few frames were good. That was the turning point of this match. So I was confident about my game. You know Maybe when two big players play, the winning margin is very less."
