Famous Bollywood film superstar Aditya Roy Kapur is celebrating his birthday today, he was born on November 16, 1985, in a Punjabi family in Mumbai. His father's name is Kumud Roy Kapur and his mother's name is Salome Aaron. His grandfather Raghupat Roy Kapur was a film producer in the 1940s. He completed his schooling in Mumbai. He was not very good at studying, but Aditya was fond of acting from the beginning.

Aditya started his career as a VJ (video jockey). Aditya's unique comic style hosting was loved in channel V India music channel. He used to do walk shows for the channel called 'Pakao with Channel V' besides hosting many more shows. He worked as a VJ for a long time.

Aditya started his acting career as a supporting actor. He acted as a supporting character in the 2009 comedy-drama film 'London Dreams'. The movie starred big actors like Salman and Ajay Devgn. Even after that, the supporting actor continued. Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai's movie 'Action Replayy' then did supporting character in Hrithik Roshan's film 'Guzaarish'. Aditya Roy Kapur's Life Changed In 2013 when his movie Aashiqui 2 was released. Shraddha Kapoor was with him in that movie. The movie not only recognized his performance but also made it to the box office list of the highest-grossing movies of the year. From then on Aditya also started getting films with the lead characters.
