Mumbai: A surprising claim has come to the fore regarding Uddhav Thackeray when he was the CM of Maharashtra. It is being said that when Uddhav Thackeray was admitted to the hospital while holding the post of CM, his son Aditya Thackeray was conspiring to become CM himself. This claim has been made by BJP MLA Nitesh Rane. According to reports, Nitesh Rane said on Saturday (April 29) that Uddhav Thackeray's neck and back surgery started when he was CM in the Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) government, during which he was admitted to the hospital. At that time, his son Aditya Thackeray, who was a minister in the government, was preparing to become CM himself by removing his father Uddhav Thackeray from the chair.
Nitesh Rane has claimed that he has the CCTV footage of the room in Jaslok Hospital where the meeting took place. Rane has said that it was told at that time that Uddhav Thackeray's health was not going to be good. However, Aditya Thackeray could not move ahead due to opposition from Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Congress. According to the report, Nitesh Rane said that while his father was admitted in the hospital, Aditya Thackeray was having fun with his friend Varun Sardesai in Davos (Switzerland). Rane said that Uddhav faction leader Sanjay Raut should also clarify whether this information regarding Aditya Thackeray is true or false.
Taking a dig at Sanjay Raut, Nitesh Rane said that Sanjay Raut should write on Aditya Thackeray's marriage instead of commenting on others. They should write when will Aditya Thackeray get married and with whom. Who will marry meow-meow (mimicring Aditya Thackeray's voice).
