After contracting Dengue fever and seeing a sharp decline in blood platelet count, Adivi Sesh was taken to a private hospital in Hyderabad. The actor will be admitted to the hospital and monitored until Monday. His team issued a statement about his health status, stating that his condition is being being monitored by specialists.

“Actor Adivi Sesh was infected with Dengue last week and was hospitalized on September 18th due to a sudden drop in blood platelets,” according to the health statement. A team of physicians is keeping a careful eye on his condition. Any new information on Sesh's health would be released on a formal basis."

Adivi Sesh will next be seen in the multilingual film Major, which will be released later this year. The actor will play Sandeep Unnikrishnan, a martyred soldier who died in the terrible Mumbai terror attacks on November 26, 2008.

Following the blockbuster successful film Goodachari, Major represents Adivi Sesh's second collaboration with director Sashi Kiran. The leading woman is Sobhita Dhulipala. Saiee Manjrekar, who was most recently seen in Salman Khan's Dabangg 3, will play a pivotal part. Mahesh Babu, Sony Pictures India, and A S Movies are collaborating on the film Major.

With his brand GMB Entertainments, Mahesh Babu will make his debut as a producer with this film. On July 2, 2021, Major will be released in Telugu and Hindi. Aside from that, the actor is now working on the writing for the Goodachari sequel, in which he will also star. The movie is scheduled to start shooting soon.
