Patna: After the return of monsoon in Bihar, once again, the number of tourists in Valmiki Tiger Reserve is increasing. Jungle safari service has also been started for tourists. A large number of tourists are reaching the Valmiki Tiger Reserve to enjoy the nature with water-forest and animals. Rafting service has also been started with newly constructed Eco Park to attract tourists from Valmiki Tiger Reserve and Water Resources Department.

At the same time, canteens have also been arranged at the government rate along with guest houses like Bambu Hut, Tree Hut, Suit and Valmiki Vihar for tourists at low prices for those who are fond of camping in the forest. Camping is provided here at very economical rates. The charge of Bambu tree house built in Jungle Camp is only 1000 rupees. At the same time, the charge of the suit is 1200 rupees, keeping in mind the budget of the tourists in the Sheharihari compartment, there is also an arrangement of staying for only 50 rupees.

Where the government has made so much arrangement, the tourists say that the government is not able to give this tiger reserve a global level of infrastructure. People say that the road connecting the Tiger Reserve to the cities, in particular, is in bad shape. CM Nitish Kumar is planning to develop Valmiki Nagar as a tourism city.
