Delhi University Admission process to begin from June 15: VC PC Joshi

New Delhi: Admission to graduate level courses of Delhi University (DU) has always been given on the basis of marks obtained in class XII. This year also, admissions will be made on merit in view of corona epidemic. This information was given by Delhi University Vice Chancellor P C Joshi to the media.

So far, there were speculations that admission to Delhi University would be done through entrance examination this year. But CBSE du has also clarified the admission process after the cancellation of the 12th Board Examination. The Vice Chancellor said that the admission process in Delhi University will be started around July 15. Equal importance will be given to students of all boards (State and CBSE). The admission process will be initiated as soon as the results of the Board are declared. But unlike in previous years, the process will be delayed this year.

Examination to be given for future admission The Vice Chancellor also informed that as per the new education policy, the Central University General Entrance Examination (CUCET) in undergraduate courses can be implemented by the National Testing Agency (NTA). However, the decision on this will be taken after reviewing the status of corona epidemic. But the CUSET will definitely be held in future.
