The colour of the hair play an important role in garnising our personality. The coloured hair can bring a whole lot of change in anyone's appearance. While coloured or dyed hair looks great, it is a fact that any type of chemical treatment changes the composition of the hair and makes it prone to damage. It is very important to take the proper care of them. Today , we bring you few tips to take proper care of then.

However, taking good care of the hair will ensure the least amount of damage and healthy hair.

1. Use quality products

Coloured hair is vulnerable to damage and is super sensitive. In order to ensure that your gorgeous hair colour lasts longer and the hair stays healthy, choosing the right products is the key. A shampoo without parabens and dyes, and containing natural ingredients is brilliant for coloured hair. A harsh shampoo will not only strip off the natural oils, but also the colour. Following it up with a conditioner containing natural ingredients will lock in the moisture and help your hair stay healthy.

2. Avoid heat

Using heat styling tools on a regular basis can damage the hair. And when you're doing it on coloured hair, the damage is even more. After your hair is coloured, let your hair air dry way more often than your blow dry. Do some heatless waves or curls with braids instead of a curling tong. Staying away from heat styling while your hair is coloured will reduce the damage a lot.

3. Go for conditioning treatments

When your hair undergoes colouring, it goes through a lot! Cuticles are opened up to make it easier for the colour to penetrate. Deep conditioning treatments help smooth things out and keep the hair shiny. One of the easiest treatments to do at home is an oil massage. Pick coconut oil or olive oil, heat it up a little, massage into the hair, cover from root to end and leave on for at least an hour.
