Kabul: Thedeath toll from the earthquake in Afgangistan has risen to 1,100 and the number of injured has crossed 1,650. Tolo News confirmed this in its report. Earlier, Amin Huzaifa, the chief of paktika province's culture and information department, told Sputnik news agency that the death toll had crossed 1,000 and more than 1,500 people were injured.  

It is also being told that the number of victims may increase further. According to media reports, the tremors have also been felt in other cities, including Islamabad in Pakistan. Let us know that on social media also people are seen talking about earthquakes.     The magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 6.1 on the Richter scale. According to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), the epicentre of the earthquake was southeast of Afghanistan Quake.  

According to news agencies, the quake struck in Paktika and Khost provinces. The maximum intensity of the earthquake is not yet known.   However, earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.0 or more on the Richter scale are considered more dangerous than usual. The earthquake in Afghanistan was a little less intensity.
