Kabul: The situation in Afghanistan is getting worse after the radical organization Taliban came to power. A family struggling with poverty in Balkh province has been so forced that they are ready to sell even their child. TOLO News reported on Saturday that a family was going to sell their two-year-old innocent girl, but she was rescued. This is not the first case of children being sold due to poverty in Afghanistan. Last year too, there were several reports that gave information about families who were willing to sell their children for a few rupees.

According to the report, after the matter came to light, the locals provided food and other help to the family so that they did not have to sell their children. According to Tolo News, the girl's mother Nasreen said that she was forced to sell her child because of extreme poverty. Nasreen said, 'I am in great trouble. I have nothing to eat and use as fuel.' Nasreen told that 'I have not made any preparations for winter. I will have to sell my baby girl to manage some stuff for the winter.' Nasreen said that neither the government nor any humanitarian agency, it has been more than a year, and no one has helped. She told that 'I myself went to the officials two to three times and requested them to include my name in the list of those getting help. But, the officials said that your name is written in this list, but so far I have not received any help.'

Let us know that since the capture by the Taliban last year, the lives of the people of Afghanistan are getting worse. The World Food Programme has also expressed concern over the economic crisis and rising unemployment in Afghanistan. The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Thursday passed a resolution accusing the Taliban of violating the human rights of Afghan women and girls. It has accused the Taliban of failing to establish a representative government and putting the country in a "serious economic, humanitarian and social situation".
