Afghanistan: Defense minister's driver killed in Kabul

Despite the ongoing peace effort, there is a sharp increase in violence in Afghanistan. In a new case of violence,  Mohammad Afzal, "a driver of the defence minister" and his five-year-old son were killed in their house in the Macrorayan-e-Char area in Kabul on Friday night.

According to the report of TOLO News, No one has claimed the responsibility for this incident, including the Taliban. More details are awaited. 

These cases of violence are being reported in the country amid the peace talks. Three days ago, At least two people were killed and five others wounded in two separate explosions in Kabul, capital of Afghanistan, on Wednesday. An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attached to a four-wheel-drive vehicle exploded at 8:55 a.m. local time in Kart-e-Parwan, Police District 4, along a four-line road connecting the Kabul airport to the Intercontinental Hotel, killing two in the car and wounding one other. The vehicle overturned and caught fire by the blast. Earlier in the day, an IED explosion had targeted a similar vehicle in Kart-e-Ariana in Police District 2, wounding four people.
