Recently Former Afghan President Hamid Karzai stated there was no need to deploy skilled and trained Pakistani people to Afghanistan in response to Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan's request.

Khan said the reason for deploying personnel to Afghanistan is to avoid a humanitarian crisis while speaking at the third meeting of the Apex Committee on Afghanistan on Friday.

"The Prime Minister directed the concerned authorities to explore bilateral cooperation with friendly countries as well as to stave off humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan by exporting qualified and trained manpower, particularly in medical, IT, finance and accounting," his office said in a statement.

In reponse to this Karzai said on Saturday that Afghanistan has hundreds of thousands of qualified boys and girls who have studied both at home and abroad. In Afghanistan, he continued, there was no need for a foreign labour.

The former President also urged Taliban officials in Kabul to give employment opportunities for Afghan university graduates and to make it easier for Afghan professionals and specialists to return to the nation.
