Kabul: The case of former female MP Mursal Nabizada and her bodyguard being shot dead has come to light in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan ruled by the Taliban. Nothing has been known about the attackers so far. After the Taliban took over the power of Afghanistan, Mursal Nabizada did not leave her home. At present, the police are investigating the murder.

According to the report, the local police chief Molvi Hamidullah Khalid has told that Mursal Nabizada and her guard were killed at 3 am local time on Saturday (January 14). In this attack, Nabizada's brother and another guard were also injured. At the same time, the third security personnel escaped from the spot with money and jewelry. Khalid has also told that Nabizada was found dead on the first floor of her house. She used this floor as her office. However, when Khalid was asked about the possible reasons for her murder, he refused to give any answer. On the other hand, Abdullah, who was an official in the former government of Afghanistan, while expressing grief over the killing of Nabizada, called her the representative and servant of the people. Abdullah has said that he hopes Nabizada's killers will be punished severely.

Former Afghan parliamentarian Mariam Solaimankhil has also expressed grief over Mursal Nabizada's death. She tweeted saying, 'She was a true trailblazer, a strong, outspoken woman. Who stood with full confidence even in the face of danger. Even after getting the opportunity to leave Afghanistan, she decided to stay here and fight for her people. We have lost a diamond, but her legacy will live on. May her soul rest in peace.'
