Islamabad: Pakistan has been isolated across the cricket world after the New Zealand and England Cricket Board cancelled their recent tour of Pakistan due to security reasons. In fact, the Afghanistan cricket team is likely to tour Pakistan soon.

The Afghan Cricket Board has seen a major change after the Taliban came to power. Azizullah Fazli has been appointed as the new chairman of the board. Fazli has now given information on playing the ODI series with Pakistan. Meanwhile, Fazli says he will visit Pakistan in the coming few days for the ODI series. Earlier this month, the ODI series between Pakistan and Afghanistan was scheduled to be held. The three-match ODI series was scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka, but the series had to be cancelled due to a ban on air travel. Due to this, the series can now be played in Pakistan.

With this, Fazli has started trying to organize the series. He said, 'I am visiting Pakistan on 25th September. Our effort is to take cricket forward. At the same time, I will also tour India, Bangladesh and UAE.'
