Kabul: Things have been steadily getting worse since U.S. and foreign forces left Afghanistan. The Taliban, the terror group, has captured the entire country and the bad days of its citizens have begun. Ever since the Taliban came to power, the situation in the country has deteriorated to such an end that people are forced to sell their daughters. One such story is that of former policeman Mir Nazir, who has agreed to sell his baby to feed his family.

According to a report in the British newspaper The Times of London, Nazir is ready to sell his daughter for just $580, or about Rs 43,000 in Indian rupees. He has seven members in his family and is forced to save these seven from hunger. His daughter Safia, 4, is the youngest in the house and Nazir hopes that doing so will save her daughter's life. Nazir has said that he is also in talks with some people to sell his child. Tell you that Nazir was a small employee in the Afghan police until before August 15. As soon as the Taliban captured the country, he lost his job. All the savings have also been lost and now the big question of how to feed the family has arisen before them.

The house rent is also to be paid and in such a situation Nazir sees no other way but to sell the daughter. Nazir, 38, said, 'I'd rather die than sell my daughter. But my death will not do any good to any member of my family. Then who will feed my children.' With tears in her eyes, Nazir said, 'It's not about my choice or the option I have, but it's about depression and restlessness.'
