Recently Pooja Bedi is in a happy space. The actress recently got engaged to her boyfriend Maneck Contractor, and the couple plans to get married later this year. Maneck proposed to Pooja on Valentine’s Day (February 14) as he took her on a hot-air balloon ride. The actress also revealed that her fiance is “extraordinarily kind”.
In an interview, Pooja opened up about her relationship and revealed that the wedding will take place once she knows about her daughter Aalia Furniturewalla’s shooting dates (she is making her Bollywood debut) and the schedule of her son Omar Furniturewalah’s college holidays.
Pooja told that “The beauty of our relationship is that it has been effortless in every way. Our families have merged beautifully. He has a wonderful open-hearted, jovial, Parsi family, who welcomed me. My kids, too, adore him. He is extraordinarily kind and cooks up a storm in the kitchen, which is an incredibly sexy quality,”.
The actress also revealed that she has known Maneck since her school days but they reconnected again last year when she went to review one of his new ventures in Goa.

Earlier, Pooja married Farhan Ebrahim Furniturewalla in 1990, but their relationship hit a rough patch and the couple divorced in 2003. “I have had relationships in between and my kids have liked every person that I have been with. But it is very different with Maneck — they adore him and want him in our lives forever, which is a wonderful feeling as a single parent. They are happy that I am settling down finally.”
