New York: A month after the previous attempt failed, Twitter is making another attempt to launch its premium service.
Starting Monday, users will be able to subscribe to Twitter Blue to receive a blue checkmark and access special features, the social media company announced on Saturday.
Initially, the platform awarded blue checkmarks to businesses, famous people, government bodies and journalists.

The relaunched service will be available for $8 per month for web users and $11 per month for iPhone users. According to Twitter, members will see fewer ads, have the ability to post longer videos, and have their tweets displayed more prominently.
