New Delhi: After a long time on Friday, PM Narendra Modi and senior-most BJP leader L K Advani appeared together, the occasion was the inauguration and laying of the foundation stone of projects related to Somnath temple. PM Modi laid the foundation stone and inaugurated the projects from Delhi through video conferencing and L.K. Advani from Delhi was also associated with the program through video conferencing. When PM Narendra Modi started speaking in the program, he first bowed to Lord Somnath and then first paid respects to L.K. Advani by naming him in the address. PM Modi then named Home Minister Amit Shah, Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani, and others involved in the program.

Talking about the same L.K. Advani, PM Modi said that he is revered by all of us. L.K. Advani is one of the stalwarts of the country and the BJP is considered to be his significant contribution in making it the largest party in the country, but being an elderly man, he has long shied away from active politics. The 93 years old is mostly away from public events as he is aged now, but on Friday, he made his presence through video conferencing at a program related to Somnath temple.

In his address after inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of Somnath temple projects, Prime Minister Modi said, "I am connecting through video conferencing on this auspicious occasion but with my heart, I am experiencing myself at the feet of Lord Somnath. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to serve this holy place as chairman of the Somnath Temple Trust. Today, I have the privilege of inaugurating the Samudra Darshan Path, Somnath Exhibition Gallery, and the Juna Somnath Temple in a new form after restoration." At the same time, the foundation stone of Parvati Mata Temple has been laid today, along with the holy month of Sawan, which is the proof of the blessings of Lord Somnath for all of us.
