All TV cable and DTH service providers have to make changes in their plans after the introduction of new TRAI rules. After the new rules are implemented, users now have to pay to see only the channels they want to see. Since the introduction of the new rules of TRAI, users get the convenience of watching channels of Rs.130 (without tax) in the Minimum Monthly Plan. However, TRAI has not introduced any Long Duration Pack (LDP) TRAI so far.

According to the sources, last year many people, who took the long term plans, had complained about it. After that, TRAI has asked DTH service providers to bring back their long-term plan. Tata Sky, Airtel Digital TV, D2h and Dish TV are currently providing long-term packs to their users. Let's know about these long-term offers in detail

With a three-month subscription plan, D2h is giving 7 days additional subscription to its users. At the same time, a 15-day additional subscription is being offered to the users with a 6-month long term plan. A month's free membership is being offered with 12 month's long term plan. Apart from this, the service provider is offering 60 days free subscription to users for taking 22 months subscription. 33 months with 90 days, 44 days with 120 months while the free subscription offer is for 55 months with 150 days (5 months) to the customer.

Dish TV is also offering an additional free subscription to users who take Long Terms Plan like D2h. A free subscription of 7 days is being offered to users for taking a 3-month subscription plan. Dish TV users are being offered 15 days free subscription with a 6-month subscription plan. 

Tata Sky offers Flexi annual plans as its long term plan. In this, 30 days of the free subscription is being offered to the users. Tata Sky users have to pay for a one-year subscription plan. After that, users are being given additional free subscription after the year's end. Free subscription offer Like the Tata Sky, Airtel Digital TV is also offering its users with the earliest plan for 30 days.
