In such a situation, the marriage and engagement of soldiers were banned in Claudius's Rome. Saint Valentine did not like this thing at all and he raised his voice against it and protested. Not only this, but Saint Valentin also marred against the decision of the King of Rome. For this reason, Saint Valentin was hanged on 14 February. Since then, Valentine's Day has been celebrated on 14 February in memory of Saint Valentin.

Some believe it was a miracle: Some historians believe that when Saint Valentin was in prison, he wrote a letter from there to the jailer's daughter, who could not see. The saint also wrote 'From Your Valentin' at the end of this letter. According to the British portal, the prayer of Saint Valentin came true as the daughter of the jailer's eyes lit up as a miracle, yes, she was able to see after she got the letter.

Since when has Valentine's Day been celebrated: Some reports suggest that in the year 496, First Valentine's Day was celebrated. Accordingly, Valentine's Day began with the Roman Festival. From the end of the 5th century, Pope Gelasius declared St. Valentines-day on 14 February, since then it has been celebrated. The Romans celebrated a festival called Lupercalia in the middle of February, on which mass marriages take place.
