New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi went to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Monday morning and got corona vaccinated. PM Modi received the first dose of the indigenously produced Bharat Biotech and the corona vaccine Covaxin vaccine prepared by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). Actually, the opposition raised questions about the testing and efficacy of this indigenous Corona vaccine.

Now by applying this vaccine, PM Modi has responded to the opposition in a way. Secondly, this vaccine is indigenously created, which is going to further the dream of PM Modi's 'self-reliant' India. After the vaccination, PM Modi said, 'Even thought was not found.' On January 3, the emergency use of two Indian vaccines Oxford University and AstraZeneca vaccine Covishield and Bharat Biotech Covaxin vaccine was approved.

The covishield vaccine has been developed by the Serum Institute of India (SII) in India. In fact, covishield's vaccine approval was granted after completing the third phase of testing, while Covaxin was in its third phase of testing only when its emergency use was allowed. The data for the third phase of Covaxin has not yet available, which was questioned by several opposition leaders including Shashi Tharoor, Manish Tiwari.
