After Bumblebee, John Cena is to seen in Jason Bateman's action comedy

Popular WWE superstar John Cena who has eneterd Hollywood has Kick- started 2019 with a bang as the superstar starred in Bumblebee. The Transformers franchise film recived positive response and  proved tp be a hit at the box-office. Besides starring alongside Jackie Chan in the action thriller Project X, Cena has another Hollywood project on the pipeline.

As per the report, John will be starring in Jason Bateman's untitled action comedy for Netflix. Besides directing, Jason will also be a part of the cast along with John as will see him reunite with Mark Perez, writer of Game Night. The storyline revolves around a family that gets stuck in an old abandoned movie studio. The various sets in the studio comes to life and will see the family stuck in several different movies. Cena plans to make the comedy genre his major forte as, over the past few years, we've seen in him in films like Blockers, Daddy's Home 2, Sisters and Trainwreck .

Meanwhile, Cena was scheduled as a participant for the Royal Rumble 2019 match. However, a supposed ankle injury during a taping of Monday Night Raw has kept him away from the pay-per-view.
